The Role: Sales Manager (Revenue Driver)

This position is designed for a results-driven leader who knows how to push sales, optimize performance, and maximize profitability.

As Sales Manager, you will be accountable for all sales operations, promotions, and revenue-driving initiatives inside the dispensary. Your goal is simple: Increase revenue, drive foot traffic, optimize sales performance, and lead a top-tier sales team.

You will have the autonomy to implement sales strategies, but results are expected. The compensation structure is designed to reward high performers generously through bonuses and shared revenue incentives that go well beyond the base salary.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Revenue & Sales Performance (#1 Priority)

Set aggressive but achievable sales goals—and ensure the team meets or exceeds them.
Train and coach sales associates to master cross-selling, upselling, and consultative selling techniques.
Optimize sales KPIs, including Google reviews, average units per transaction, total sales per salesperson, and sales per hour.
Evaluate and improve the performance of the sales team to ensure top-tier execution.
Identify bottlenecks in sales performance and implement solutions to maximize revenue.

Sales Team Leadership & Accountability

Manage, train, and inspire a team of 10-15 sales associates (plus GM and Assistant Manager support).
Evaluate and optimize sales leads—ensuring only top-performing staff hold leadership roles.
Hold the team accountable for revenue goals with clear performance expectations and coaching.
Foster a high-energy, consultative sales culture that aligns with Monko’s luxury service approach.

Promotions, Merchandising & Sales Strategy

Create and execute sales promotions that move product and drive revenue.
Optimize merchandising and product placement to maximize sales.
Ensure sales associates push high-margin products, promotional items, and add-ons.
Work closely with the GM, marketing and leadership to align on pricing, inventory, and promotional strategies.
Event Planning & Traffic-Driving Initiatives

Work alongside the marketing team to plan and execute in-store events that drive foot traffic and revenue.
Brainstorm creative, high-impact promotions and events to keep Monko at the forefront of the industry.
Ensure that Monko is always buzzing with engaging activities, reinforcing brand loyalty.

Collaboration & Leadership Team Alignment

Communicate proactively with leadership (GM, ownership, and marketing) to ensure smooth execution.
Report on sales performance, wins, challenges, and new ideas.
Be a key voice in shaping Monko’s long-term sales strategy and customer experience.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Holidays
Weekends as needed
